AUBURN, Ala.- The Auburn Arts Association is calling all area artists and craftspersons, 18 years of age and older, to submit two works for the 2025 Fall Open Invitational Exhibition: Mixed Media. This exhibition will be on view from Nov. 12 through Dec. 20, 2025, in the Art Gallery at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center.

Each entry may be a maximum of 26 inches on its longest side. Works may combine any number or kinds of art mediums, materials and attachments. 3D objects can not extend further than 2 inches from a work’s surface. All added items must be securely attached.

2D works must be framed (no glass!) either with or without Plexiglas. Canvas works must be gallery wrapped. All free-hanging, unframed and 3D wall pieces must have appropriate hanging means: wires, rods, hooks, etc. All works must be hangable. Sculptures, ceramics, found objects, constructions and all other free-standing works for display on a base, pedestal or floor are not eligible for consideration for this show.

There is no entry fee, and works may be listed for sale. Those interested in participating may register online through MyRec. Artwork must be dropped off at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center on Nov. 6 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
